The Process

AS YOUR CREATIVE PARTNER, I REALLY ENJOY GETTING IMMERSED IN A BRIEF AND COMING UP WITH CREATIVE IDEAS.  NO TWO PROJECTS ARE THE SAME, BUT ALL REQUIRE COLLABORATION TO ADD REAL VALUE. HERE’S AN IDEA OF WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ON THE JOURNEY, WHETHER YOU ARE JUST LOOKING FOR A BRAND REFRESH OR STARTING SOMETHING FROM SCRATCH.

 I want to get to know all about your business, market, your objectives, aspirations and your budget. You may not have a brief - or even know what you need - but we can work through this together. Once I have an idea of what's involved, I can provide an accurate cost proposal, often based on a menu of items, so you can plan and prioritise accordingly.

When I am armed with the facts, I can get under the skin of the brief - research, study the audience, competitors and any aspirational brands there may be. We can also do an in-depth brand workshop with you to help focus on all the above and get to the nub of what you are all about, your values, your positioning etc. All of this will feed into the Creative process and could ultimately manifest into a Brand Playbook Style Guide if you need one.

Once we have agreed on a positioning, I can start to look at designs, styles and idea directions that are true to this. Mood boards, scamps, concepts and mock-ups can all help me to drill down to your own unique brand style.

Now we have an idea that rocks, I can focus on the details. Crafting logos, selecting colour palettes, illustrations, typography, designing packaging and all the marketing materials and artwork that you will need to launch.
